ACE Taxi is a family-owned and operated business. We were once happily doing business in Johnson City back in 2012. Due to my father's illness, I was forced to close down. After his death, Uber depleted much of the market, so rather than open back up, we began Ubering with our vehicles instead.
Now, in 2026, with the increase in both Uber prices and other big competitors, and being a 5-year resident of Elizabethton now, I recognized the need for an affordable, comfortable classy ride company.
We offer local trips between $7 and $9. Trips to and from small local surrounding areas such as Hampton, etc. are also included at these prices if the trip is 7 miles or less.
We offer trips to Johnson City ranging from $12 - $20, depending on the distance.
We offer transportation to and from the Tri-Cities Airport with fares ranging from $47 - $60.
We offer everything Uber offers for way less. And a classy, comfortable, smooth ride in our SUV. It has seatbelts for 6, and seats 5 or less very comfortably. **Childseats are available if you have children passengers (please inform dispatcher because we do not carry them at all times).
Our promise to our passengers is to provide you with a safe, comfortable, smooth ride to your destination. We do this, in part by ensuring your driver is fully background checked and substance tested.
We also ensure your vehicle is sound, safe and smooth. We are insured and licensed in the City of Elizabethton and in the State of Tennessee.
We offer the lowest price point possible to still operate and this results in prices that are nearly half or better of Uber and both our closest competition, as well as our largest.
We are able to offer surprisingly lower rates because of our close proximity. We promise to charge the best price you'll find.
Our promise to the community is to work in partnership with the City of Elizabethton and that includes the Police Department as well as the Carter County Sheriff's Department. Our goal is to provide affordable and comfortable transportation to help decrease driving while intoxicated. We accomplish this promise, in part by providing a return service for patrons to pick up their vehicles that they left at the bar, the next morning for half the price.
Our promise to the community is to do my small part to try and make our community and our streets a tiny bit safer.
